Our community of practice is intended for UCD staff, researchers and students doing or interested in doing citizen science for research, teaching or public engagement.
Through our community of practice, discover how citizen science can:
- Advance knowledge, research and innovation
- Benefit staff, students, research, as well as the citizens involved
- Be a powerful tool for engaging people in research and addressing important research and societal challenges
Citizen science is endorsed through UCD’s public engagement policy and by Horizon Europe.
The goals of our community of practice are to:
- share knowledge and ideas
- attend discussions and talks
- collaborate on issues
- help develop resources for all members to use
- hear from practitioners & experts
- make requests and suggestions on topics
- identify challenges
- access a library of resources, tools, and case studies
